Cub Scout Advancement Trail

Lion Scouts (Kindergarten)

Age: Typically 5-6 years old
Activities: Lion Scouts engage in fun and age-appropriate activities that introduce them to the excitement of Cub Scouting. They work on simple achievements designed to build confidence and social skills.

Tiger Scouts (First Grade)

Age: Typically 6-7 years old
Activities: Tiger Scouts embark on a series of adventures with their adult partners, completing requirements in areas such as outdoor skills, teamwork, and citizenship. They work towards earning their Tiger badge.

Wolf Scouts (Second Grade)

Age: Typically 7-8 years old
Activities: Wolf Scouts dive deeper into the world of Cub Scouting, exploring topics like nature, science, and community. They complete achievements to earn their Wolf badge.

Bear Scouts (Third Grade)

Age: Typically 8-9 years old
Activities: Bear Scouts take on more challenging adventures, working on activities that promote physical fitness, creativity, and problem-solving. They earn their Bear badge by completing requirements in various areas.

WEBELOS Scouts (Fourth Grade)

Age: Typically 9-10 years old
Activities: Webelos Scouts focus on preparing for the transition to Boy Scouts, participating in activities that emphasize outdoor skills, leadership, and personal growth. They work towards earning their Webelos badge and Arrow of Light award.

Arrow of Light (Fifth Grade)

Achievement: The highest rank in Cub Scouting
Requirements: Webelos Scouts must complete a series of adventures and demonstrate leadership skills to earn the Arrow of Light award, preparing them for the next step in their Scouting journey.

Scout Recognition and Ceremony

Pack 5 celebrates the achievements of our Scouts with advancement ceremonies and recognition events throughout the year. We take pride in honoring the hard work and dedication of our Scouts as they progress through the ranks.
