Parade 7pm-9pm

Pack 5 will participate in the Plant City Christmas Parade along with other Scouts in the Plant City area. We should be in place by 6:30, and we will be walking with other Plant City area Scouts. Scouts should wear their blue or khaki uniforms, adults should wear pack T-shirts (or festive attire) , and we would like them to wear a Santa hat (if you have one). The parade start area will be congested, so try to carpool when dropping off. Parents can walk with the scouts. They suggest you park near the parade end at the Courthouse at Reynolds and Michigan& but warn that the lots may fill up early. Collins Rd. will be closed at about 5pm. This is about a 0.8 mile parade. Eat dinner beforehand.

– Christmas Light Hike / Hot Cocoa / Games / Pictures / Awards / Derby Cars

Pinewood Derby Car Build Mini Workshop.
– Woodworking outside, dress appropriately.
– Well have new families joining us for their first meeting, working on their derby cars.

The University of Scouting is a supplemental training opportunity for all adult Scout leaders. It is the only time during the year where you can find the widest variety of training opportunities in all program areas (Cub Scouts, Scouts BSA, Venturing, Sea Scouting, STEM, Online Scouting/Social Media, and District Operations), all in one place. Whether you are new to the program or a veteran of many years, the University provides interesting courses applicable across the Scouting programs. This will be a potluck dinner for all of our scouts, their families, and some guests. The dishes for families to bring will be discussed later.
-Celebration of the anniversary of the founding of the BSA on February 8, 1910.
-Blue and gold banquets are a tradition within packs.
-Celebrate the leaders & parents who volunteer to make Cub Scouting fantastic.

Neckerchief Ceremony & Annual Parent Planning Meeting

Our American Legion has a memorial service at 11am in the legion. They usually request our pack to be present and lead the group in the Pledge of Allegiance. Please wear your complete uniform. All scouts from the pack are invited. Lunch is provided after.
