This will be a potluck dinner for all of our scouts, their families, and some guests. The dishes for families to bring will be discussed later. The theme is diversity. Bears open the meeting.

Pack awards!

Pack 5 will participate in the Plant City Christmas Parade along with other Scouts in the Plant City area. We should be in place by 6:30, and we will be walking with other Plant City area Scouts. Scouts should wear their blue or khaki uniforms, adults should wear pack T-shirts (or festive attire) , and we would like them to wear a Santa hat (if you have one). The parade start area will be congested, so try to carpool when dropping off. Parents can walk with the scouts. They suggest you park near the parade end at the Courthouse at Reynolds and Michigan… but warn that the lots may fill up early. Collins Rd. will be closed at about 5pm. This is about a 0.8 mile parade. Eat dinner beforehand.

Hiking Spree is on! We will meeting at a preserve/park for a short hike to participate in Hillsborough County 11th Annual Hiking Spree.

There is no meeting planned for Martin Luther King Jr. Day. Since this day is also designated a National Day of Service it is encourage for dens to schedule their own service project.

Our American Legion has a memorial service at 11am in the legion. They usually request our pack to be present and lead the group in the Pledge of Allegiance. Please wear your complete uniform. All scouts from the pack are invited. Lunch is provided after.
